.Abstract
Background: Caesarean section is a very common surgical procedure. The escalating global rates of caesarean sections (CS) have become a significant concern in obstetric care. The Robson classification system, introduced by Michael Robson in 2001, offers a structured framework for categorizing CS deliveries into mutually exclusive groups based on obstetric characteristics such as parity, previous CS history, fetal presentation, gestational age, and onset of labor. The objective of the study is to examine the CS rates in each group and to identify specific groups contributing disproportionately to CS rates.
