Background: The prevalence of diabetes mellitus is on the rise, reaching an alarming epidemic level. Therefore, developing strategies based on risk factors can help curb this rising trend. Aim and Objective: To assess the prevalence and associated risk factors for diabetes in the geriatric population in an urban field practice area.
