.Abstract
Glaucoma is a chronic, progressive optic neuropathy that leads to irreversible vision loss if left untreated. Elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) is a major risk factor contributing to disease progression. While various factors such as genetics, lifestyle, and medication play a role in IOP regulation, recent studies indicate that sleep posture may also influence IOP fluctuations, potentially affecting glaucoma progression. This study aims to assess the effect of different sleep postures—supine, lateral (right and left), and prone—on IOP levels in glaucoma patients.
