.Abstract
Background: A hyperdynamic state in cirrhosis patients is distinguished by increased Cardiac Output (CO), plasma volume, and decreased Systemic Vascular Resistance (SVR) and blood pressure [1]. Initially, decreased LV performance in cirrhotic patients was assumed to be caused by alcohol's direct toxic action. Aim: To study cardiac changes in patients with chronic liver disease using echocardiography.
