Abstract

Aim: To compare the morbidity rates of intraoperative and postoperative between carbon dioxide laser tonsillectomy and dissection tonsillectomy. Materials and methods: The research included patients diagnosed with chronic tonsillitis, including children and young people between the ages of 6 and 18 who met the criteria set by the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network. We included a total of 100 participants in our trial. A total of 100 patients were evenly distributed into two groups, with 50 patients in each group. There were 50 patients in the CO2 Laser group and 50 patients in the Dissection group.
