Abstract

Background: For patients allergic to penicillin alternative drug is clindamycin which is preferred for mild to severe methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections. Objective: To determine the clindamycin resistance by D-test to avoid treatment failure of the macrolide lincosamide group of drugs.
