Comparison of invasive andnoninvasive ventilation in acute exacerbation of COPD patients for ease of ventilation and weaning

Abstract

Acute exacerbation of the COPD can lead to respiratory failure which may requires assisted mechanical ventilation. But invasive mode of ventilation is usually associated with various complications like weaning failure, lengthy hospital stay and more mortality and morbidity. So wecompared noninvasive and invasive mechanical ventilation and their clinical outcome
