Conventional pap smear and liquid based cytology for cervical cancer screening: A Comparative Study

Abstract

Aim:To compare conventional pap smear and Liquid based cytology for cervical cancer screening. Material and Methods: The present prospective comparative study was conducted in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology among women who are sexually active and reported to the OPD for gynecological consultation. Both conventional pap and liquid based cytology was performed on the same patient.
