Hypothyroidism is a common metabolic disorder, results from inadequate production of thyroid hormones. Subclinical hypothyroidism is a condition usually asymptomatic, in which TSH level is above the reference range and free T3 and T4 levels are within reference range. Thyroid hormone plays a vital role in the regulation of energy homeostasis, in the metabolism of glucose and lipids and regulation of enzymes of lipoprotein transport
