Abstract

Background: Postoperative pain is a common but often under-managed complication following abdominal surgeries. Inadequate pain control can delay recovery, increase morbidity, and reduce patient satisfaction. Despite advancements in pain management strategies, a significant gap exists between guideline recommendations and real-world clinical practice, especially in resource limited settings.
