Abstract

Background & Methods: The aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of thoracic epidural block and ultrasound guided erector spinae plane block for post-operative analgesia in patients undergoing thoracic surgeries. Study conducted on patients of age group between 18 - 60 years of either sex belonging to ASA Grade 2 & 3 with BMI<35 in patients undergoing elective thoracic surgeries. A routine preoperative assessment was conducted; basic investigation will be obtained (CBC, RFT, LFT, Coagulation profile, CXR- PA, including pulmonary function tests). Monitors will be attached & vitals are recorded.
