Abstract

Introduction: Cataract surgery, widely performed for significant visual improvement, often
encounters postoperative inflammation, potentially leading to complications like cystoid
macular edema (CME) and elevated intraocular pressure (IOP). Effective management of
inflammation is critical for optimal recovery. This study evaluates the impact of preoperative
nepafenac 0.1% on postoperative inflammation in uncomplicated cataract surgeries in healthy
subjects.
