Abstract

The talocrural joint is one of the most prominent joints that has undergone remarkable progress in evolution. These joints are responsible for bearing the full weight of the body, which is why they had to develop on such a massive scale in order to 
accommodate this weight. The purpose of this study is to make a genuine effort to comprehend the anatomical and morphological aspects of the ligaments and the articular surfaces of the ligaments.
