Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a chronic inflammatory disorder affecting the oral mucosa, while hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is a major global health concern. Previous studies have suggested an association between OLP and HCV infection, but the nature of this relationship remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the association between OLP and HCV infection, assessing the prevalence of HCV infection among patients with OLP and exploring potential clinical and epidemiological correlations.
