use of interrupted locked and unlocked continuous sutures with single-or doublelayer closure. However, a sensitivity analysis indicated that the risk of uterine rupture wasincreased after a locked single-layer closure but lesser after an unlocked single-layer closure, compared with a double-layer closure. The ultrasonographic measurement of the thickness ofthe LUS is useful for deciding the best mode of delivery for patients. The knowledge of this ultrasound measurement may explain the differences in the results for both study groups.
