Abstract

Background: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy has become the gold standard for the treatment of symptomatic cholelithiasis owing to its minimally invasive nature and rapid postoperative recovery. This prospective study evaluates the outcomes, safety, and efficacy of laparoscopic cholecystectomy performed at Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore, from January 2023 to June 2024.
