Abstract

Introduction: Thyroid disease is one of the most prevalent endocrine abnormalities discovered during pregnancy. It has been linked to poor maternal and fetal outcomes. The most common obstetric consequences related with thyroid abnormalities are abortion,
preeclampsia, abruptio placenta, premature labor, and fetal issues such as prematurity, low birth weight, still birth, and perinatal mortality
