Abstract:
Pigmented epithelioid melanocytoma (PEM) is a rare melanocytic tumor with borderline malignant potential. It exhibits histological features of both epithelioid blue nevus and animaltype melanoma. Due to its ambiguous biological behaviour, diagnosis and management present significant clinical challenges.
