Abstract

Background: Nasal septoplasty is a surgical procedure to correct a deviated nasal septum, which helps in improving quality of life for patients with nasal obstruction. This study utilizes validated instrument called as the Nasal Obstruction Symptom Evaluation (NOSE) scale to measure disease-specific quality of life before and after surgery. The findings consistently show significant improvements in nasal obstruction symptoms which indicates efficacy of septoplasty.
