Abstract

Background: Peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM) presents a significant global health 
challenge, contributing substantially to maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide. Despite 
ongoing research efforts, the multifaceted nature of PPCM, encompassing genetic, 
environmental, and clinical factors, necessitates a comprehensive understanding to improve 
patient outcomes effectively.
